<p>Venezuela logró una victoria sobre la República Dominicana en su primer partido del Clásico Mundial de Béisbol con un marcador de 5-1. La victoria marcó la primera vez en cinco encuentros que Venezuela derrotó a la República Dominicana en la historia del torneo, que comenzó en 2006.</p>



<p>El jardinero venezolano David Peralta tuvo un papel crucial en la victoria, con dos hits y tres carreras impulsadas. Anthony Santander también contribuyó con un jonrón y un triple, mientras que el lanzador Luis García dominó en el montículo, ponchando a siete y sin permitir carreras en tres entradas.</p>

<p>El juego tuvo lugar en el LoanDepot Park de Miami, donde el presidente de la República Dominicana, Luis Abinader, lanzó la primera bola. A pesar de una ventaja temprana de la República Dominicana, Venezuela tomó el control del juego en la segunda entrada con el jonrón de Santander y el sencillo productor de dos carreras de Peralta en la cuarta entrada.</p>

<p>La República Dominicana tuvo dificultades para anotar durante todo el juego, con solo una carrera en la primera entrada gracias al doble de Juan Soto. El lanzador abridor Sandy Alcántara cargó con la derrota, permitiendo tres carreras en tres entradas y dos tercios.</p>



<p>Esta se convirtió en la primera victoria de los venezolanos contra los dominicanos en cinco choques del torneo mundialista desde su creación en el 2006.</p>



<p>La victoria de Venezuela contó con el apoyo de una multitud de 35.890 fanáticos con entradas agotadas en el LoanDepot Park. Venezuela se enfrentará a Puerto Rico en su próximo juego, mientras que la República Dominicana tiene un día libre antes de su próximo partido.</p>



<p>El Clásico Mundial volvió a encender los reflectores en distintas sedes alrededor del mundo, y Venezuela ya se encuentra preparada para afrontar esta quinta edición siendo parte del grupo D, el cual comparte con otros grandes equipos como lo son Puerto Rico, Israel, República Dominicana y Nicaragua.</p>

<p>Será difícil hacer un roster con tanto talento en la MLB, pero lo claro es que Venezuela tiene un equipo como para pelear por el título de este evento.</p>

<p>Este 29 de diciembre se dio a conocer la muerte Pelé (Edson Arantes do Nascimento), una de las máximas figuras deportivas del último siglo, brasileño que ganó un récord de tres Copas del Mundo, <br>Pelé, la gran leyenda del fútbol de Brasil y uno de los jugadores más importantes de toda la historia, ha muerto a la edad de  82 años. El tres veces campeón del mundo  dejó de responder a la quimioterapia para tratar el cáncer de colon que sufría. Se trata de una de las mayores pérdidas sufridas jamás por el deporte más popular del planeta.<br>El fútbol mundial llora la muerte de Pelé. La gran leyenda de Brasil, uno de los futbolistas más importantes y de más calidad que jamás ha visto el mundo, ha muerto a los 82 años, según ha confirmado su hija.</p>



<p> Pelé fue un hombre de récords: marcó más de 1.200 goles, ganó tres mundiales de fútbol y fue declarado tesoro nacional para su país.</p>

<p>El jugador ingresó en el Hospital Albert Einstein a principios del mes de diciembre. Su familia, que le ha acompañado desde entonces, ha ido actualizando su parte médico día a día.</p>



<p>Desde que deslumbró a todos en el Mundial de Suecia 1958 con apenas 17 años, Pelé se transformó en ícono de la magia y el alcance global del fútbol, y se mantuvo así hasta sus últimos días, aunque su vida tampoco estuvo exenta de polémicas.</p>



<p>En 1962 llegaría su segunda estrella. Fue en Chile, donde solo disputó dos partidos tras sufrir una lesión en la ingle. Le dio tiempo a anotar una diana.</p>



<p>Ya con 29 años, en 1970, llegaría su tercer Mundial en apenas 12 años. Jugó seis partidos en México, marcando cuatro goles en la que además sería su última Copa del Mundo.</p>



<p>Con una selección con futbolistas como Pelé, Jairzinho, Garrincha y compañía, Brasil ganó sus tres de sus cinco títulos, y logró romper su sequía mundialista en EEUU, en 1994. Finalmente, llegaría su, de momento, última estrella en 2002.</p>



<p>Pelé desarrolló prácticamente toda su carrera deportiva en el Santos, con el que jugó sus dos primeros amistosos en 1956. Al año siguiente anotó 41 goles en 38 partidos oficiales, cifras que mejoraría en su segundo curso como futbolista del club brasileño.</p>



<p>Allí estuvo un total de 17 temporadas, en las que anotó 643 en 663 partidos oficiales. En 1974 dejó el club, para debutar en la competición de Estados Unidos a los 35 años en las filas del New York Cosmos.</p>



<p>Cuatro fueron los cursos que estuvo en el club neoyorquino, jugando un total de 64 partidos oficiales y marcando 37 dianas.</p>



<p>Pelé es una de las grandes leyendas del fútbol. El, para muchos, mejor jugador de toda la historia. El, para todos, futbolista que se encuentra en el olimpo de unos pocos elegidos en el que están Diego Maradona, Johan Cruyff y Alfredo di Stefano.</p>



<p>O&#8217;Rei se marcha con el agradecimiento y la rendición del mundo del fútbol a sus hazañas e hitos conquistados durante sus años de carrera, en los que consiguió alzarse como el único jugador de la historia en conquistar tres mundiales.</p>

<p>Poco antes de la meta, al parecer, se tropezó, y su decisión para asegurar la victoria, al parecer, fue lanzarse hacia adelante y así derrotar a la Allyson Felix —la favorita–, que estaba prácticamente a punto de ganar.</p>
<p>Para algunos fue un tropiezo y para otros una medida anticipada para ganar. Lo cierto es que le valió el oro.<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-930 alignright" src="http://cienciapedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/shaunamiller-300x169.jpg" alt="shaunamiller" width="424" height="239" /></p>
<p class="story-body__introduction">La meta estaba cerca y no había una ganadora clara cuando Shaunae Miller sorprendió a todos y se quedó con el oro olímpico en 400 metros gracias a un clavado.</p>
<p>Así es, la atleta de Bahamas sacó la ventaja necesaria para quedarse con la carrera y con la medalla de oro en las <strong>Olimpiadas de Río de Janeiro</strong> lanzando su cuerpo hacia adelante.</p>
<p>A pocos centímetros de la meta, Miller trastabilló y no tuvo más opción que ejecutar un clavado <strong>como si al frente tuviera una piscina<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-931 alignleft" src="http://cienciapedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/shaunamiller3-300x169.jpg" alt="shaunamiller3" width="371" height="209" /></strong></p>

<p>La gimnasta Aly Raisman era la imagen perfecta de la compostura durante la clasificación de su equipo en Río en Janeiro 2016.<br />Aly Raisman es parte de la selección de gimnasia de Estados Unidos. Con 22 años luchará por defender el título olímpico obtenido hace 4 años en Londres. En esa oportunidad la gimnasta logró 2 medallas de oro y una de bronce.</p>
<p>Sin embargo sus padres Lynn y Rick Raisman Parecía que estaban en una montaña rusa invisible: se agachaban, se escondían y se retorcían en sus asientos mientras su hija Aly Raisman de 22 años hacía su rutina en las barras asimétricas este domingo.<img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-923" src="http://cienciapedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/padresgimasta-300x173.jpg" alt="padresgimasta" width="722" height="416" /></p>
<p>Sus gestos y muecas captaron la atención de las cámaras , y rápidamente sus imágenes se hicieron virales. La gimnasta estadounidense Aly Raisman es un éxito y ella no está sola en Rio 2016. Sus padres están con ella en cada movimiento de la rutina. ¿Es posible?</p>
<p>No es la primera vez que los Raismans han llamado la atención del público. Saltaron a la fama retorciéndose durante la presentación de su hija en los Olímpicos de Londres en 2012.</p>
<p>No hacía falta que se preocuparan: su hija ganó dos medallas de oro y una de bronce ese año.</p>

<p>Durante la ceremonia inaugural, la piscina en el parque Acuático Maria Lenk el agua era de color azul, pero el martes ,el agua de la piscina correspondiente a la competición de saltos ha ido cambiando de color hasta mutar en un verde sospechoso.<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-865 alignleft" src="http://cienciapedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/piscinaverde1-169x300.jpg" alt="piscinaverde1" width="313" height="555" /><br />
esta es la piscina en donde compitieron las deportistas de la competencia femenina de clavado sincronizado en plataforma de 10 metros —llamada oficialmente el pozo de clavados— estaba de color verde oscuro.</p>
<p>El agua había sido azul el lunes y no hay explicación de por qué cambió de color.<br />
Pero era segura, dijeron los organizadores.</p>
<p>«La calidad del agua en el Parque Acuático Maria Lenk fue probada y no hay riesgos para los atletas. Estamos investigando la causa», dijeron las autoridades.</p>
<p>Tampoco parece que afecte al curso de la competición, ya que algunas deportistas que se han lanzado a esa piscina, como Roulin Chen, Paola Espinosa y Alejandra Orozco han negado que el color del agua haya sido un impedimento para el salto.<br />
Todavía se desconocen las causas oficiales del cambio, aunque las dos teorías con más peso apuntan a que puede ser o bien una bacteria o bien un alga.<br />
La piscina adyacente en el centro acuático, en donde se disputaba waterpolo, parecía normal.</p>

<p>Los Juegos de Río no solo tienen a las mejores deportistas del mundo sino también a las más bellas, en 75 Minutos observamos  a las más guapas de la competición olímpica.</p>
<p>Los Juegos Olímpicos de Río de Janeiro 2016,3 oficialmente conocidos como los Juegos de la XXXI Olimpiada, o más comúnmente como Río 2016, es un evento multideportivo que se rige por el Comité Olímpico Internacional, que se celebra en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro, Brasil, entre el 5 y el 21 de agosto de 2016, aunque la fase de grupos del torneo de fútbol comenzó el 3 de agosto en la rama femenina y el 4 de agosto en la rama masculina. También se realizarán en dicha ciudad los XV Juegos Paralímpicos, entre el 7 y el 18 de septiembre del mismo año.</p>
